Residents living in All Saints and Woodloes ward in Warwick are being reminded of the availability of audio ballot papers and other support for people with sight loss, ahead of the Town Council by-election.

The election will be held on Thursday 26 February.

These audio ballot papers will provide voters with an opportunity to listen to and download an audio description of the ballot paper, accessible via their smartphones or a QR code.

This is in addition to the his is in addition to the tactile voting devices, large and handheld magnifiers, colour overlays and large print ballot papers that the council has in place at polling stations.

Chris Elliott Chief Executive and Returning Officer, said: "We aim to support all eligible residents to vote independently. This audio feature will support people when completing their ballot paper and represents a significant step forward in making our polling stations and voting process as accessible as possible."

Full details of the accessibility measures available at polling stations can be found on the Warwick District Council website.

Further information about the by-election, details on accepted forms of photo ID if voting in a polling station and more can be found here.
