Aston Martin is set to create more than 100 jobs in South Warwickshire as it prepares to release its next generation of sportscars.

As the company celebrates its 110th anniversary it will hire over 100 automotive technicians at its Gaydon headquarters

The drive will see full time contracts offered to agency staff currently working on site on a temporary basis.

Simon Smith, chief people cfficer of Aston Martin Lagonda said: "As Aston Martin prepares to ramp-up production and launch the first of our next generation of sports cars, we are delighted to have the opportunity to increase our team at Gaydon as well as offer high-quality permanent employment opportunities for our valued agency colleagues.
