Residents have until the end of February to have their say on plans to reduce the speed limit on four residential roads in Warwick.

Warwickshire County Council (WCC) is asking for feedback on new 20mph speed limits for Bridge End, Brooke Close, Archery Fields, and The Templars.

The roads are all currently 30mph and the change is listed as a "high priority".

"The scheme will involve the use of speed-reducing traffic signs and road markings within a specific area located to the south of Warwick town centre," a council report said.

"The new speed limit will help improve the environment by avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road and by preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising."

If approved, the change would see the 20mph limits imposed along the full length of each road.

Locals have until February 28 to send their feedback to the county council.
