Locals were out in force over the weekend for the return of the Warwick Mop Fair this weekend.

The annual event, which is said to date back to the reign of Edward III, is hosted on the Friday and Saturday following the 12 of October, with the 'Runaway Mop' held the following Friday and Saturday.

Run on October 18, 19, 25 and 26 this year, the fair will take over Market Place and the rest of the town centre across both weekends as stalls and a fun fayre descend on the town.

A gallery of photos of the weekend's fun from local resident Geoff Ousbey can be seen at the top of the page.
