New photographs have shown the progress on Warwick's new paddling pool.

Warwick District Council (WDC) is working to renovate the facility at St Nicholas Park.

Works began in February and are due to finish in "early summer".

Non-slip surfaces, improved pool surrounds, jets and fountains with free-standing shades, and benches around the outside for parents are all set to be installed.

A similar project is also underway for the paddling pool at Victoria Park in Royal Leamington Spa.

The site is currently fenced off as work continues.

The council said contractors will "ensure that the impact to park users during the construction is minimum", though visitors should "expect some construction noise and traffic".

Further updates on the refurbishment project will be added to the council's website.
