"Other foreign exchanges in the area won't match us for rates" is the message from a South Warwickshire business getting ready for the holiday season.

144Currency at Cashbrokers in Leamington Spa says it will not be beaten on price for foreign currency and travel money.

Since opening on Parade in May 2011, the town centre business has operated an independent currency exchange, alongside its other services of pawnbroking, gold and silver dealing, 28-day buy-back and of course the purchase and resale of pre-owned jewellery, watches and tech.

As locals start making plans for their summer holidays, the business is urging them to look beyond other well-known high-street brands, travel agents, supermarkets and other outlets and make savings on their foreign currency and travel money at Cashbrokers.

"We set out our rates and always double check to make sure that you will not get a better deal locally, whether you are buying or selling currency".

As well as the favourable rates, Cashbrokers/144Currency is also happy to offer that rate regardless of the amount you buy or sell, unlike other high street brands which only offer preferential rates if you buy enough currency or are a "member".

The Leamington Spa-based business also prides itself on offering the same rate online as in store, meaning all customers are given the same value for money regardless, with completely transparent pricing and not taking advantage of less well-informed customers.

And - unlike many supermarkets - they do not hold back the best rates just for members.

"There's no minimum amount, there's no commission, no gimmicks or fees you receive exactly the rate that is advertised," Demi continued.

"We guarantee the best rates in Warwickshire.

"And if you need something that maybe we don't have in stock, we can usually get it for you the next working day."

As well as current circulating banknotes, outmoded and obsolete currencies are also accepted, as well as coins - unlike other outlets which only take notes.

Exchanges can be made either using a cash, bank transfer or debit card.
