Are you open to a 12-month fixed-term contract with a leading global automotive technology leader?

Are you a product manager looking to grow your skills further and relish the opportunity to work alongside the global product lead?

We are recruiting a global product manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract to help develop the company strategy of carbon-free combustion.

The role is hybrid: 2 days (your choice of days) in the office in Warwick and 3 days remotely.

The Package:

  • £40,000 - £60,000 basic salary
  • 8% bonus
  • additional 6% employer pension contributions: you contribute 3%, and the company contribute 9% (max employer contribution is 9%).
  • 25 days holidays plus BH
  • Life cover etc

The Role

  • Support the regions' New-to-Range (NTR) requirements, following OE launches/market opportunities in line with the global product strategy and range policies. This allows the sales team to sell competitively in the market(s) while maximising profitability.
  • Be a key driver of project actions, chasing other functions to deliver on time and to drive NTR through the New Part Introduction process.
  • Help to coordinate, chase and escalate project activities and priorities of the cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Engineering, SC&L)
  • Support range management throughout the product lifecycle from Development through to End of Life.
  • Sales/Category support become a product SME able to support the sales or category teams as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to support and share information required to promote and sell Ignition products, new programs, and new-to-range parts.
  • Support market analysis/trends to identify range gaps/new vehicle models being added to the market, focusing on other current and future trends impacting internal combustion engines.

You:

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and part of a wider global multi-cultural team with a keen attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Project & Change Management Skills Demonstrable ability to develop & facilitate Global projects, within given parameters.
  • Marketplace Acumen Appreciation of marketplace dynamics and different routes to market within the Automotive sector preferred.
  • Project & Change Management Demonstrable ability to manage projects, within given parameters.
  • Collaboration Ability to work within multi-functional teams.
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
