Summary
My high-profile Utilities client is looking for a Culture and Capability Lead to join their team Based at their Warwick offices (2 days a week on site) on an initial 12-month contract with chance of extensions.
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Culture and Capability lead with strong examples of developing and delivering capability and performance management interventions across large organisations. The role will be accountable for the investigation, development and delivery of capability and cultural interventions to support the overall goals and outcomes of a groupwide programme.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for leading the culture and capability workstream of a specific global program, overseeing its planning, execution, and successful implementation.
- Identify, engage and align stakeholders from across various levels of the organisation to foster a collaborative approach in planning and implementing changes.
- In collaboration with the project team design and deliver workshops that engage the business to foster ownership of solutions. Leading on the requirements gathering and solutions for culture and capability uplift.
- Curate the shop window of potential capability uplift interventions, working with the businesses to create a plan that works for them.
- Partner with internal stakeholders in the programm, the business and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of effectiveness of solutions.
- Drive the transition of change within the business by recommending necessary adjustments to local performance management processes and practices to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop and execute a tailored capability uplift plan for the program, ensuring stakeholders have a joined up view of progress, changes and milestones throughout the lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and address barriers to programme success, demonstrating problem-solving skills and escalation procedures to achieve desired outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience of successful delivery of change projects/programmes which have high impact on people and ways of working.
- Ability to connect and upwardly manage senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to convey complex strategic ideas to a wide range of audiences.
- Ability to design, plan and proactively manage change and capabilities initiatives to completion.
