Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Technical Analyst to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £21.75 per hour.
Duties:
- Act as a Technical Analyst delivering centralised support services to Engineering Factory Offices, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
- Lead the co-ordination and execution of key operational processes to support Factory Office teams in achieving performance, efficiency, and compliance targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather, validate, and process shopping cart requirements, including supplier quotation verification, procurement initiation via our client's systems, and accurate submission to central approval workflows.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal processes, standards, and documentation protocols.
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of SAP systems, from shopping cart creation through to invoice confirmation and reconciliation.
- Provide expert guidance and support to stakeholders on purchasing procedures and expenditure approval workflows, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Partner with Finance to facilitate the approval of various expenditure types, maintaining alignment with internal controls and budgetary governance.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting, including weekly and monthly updates, to monitor progress against operational and financial KPIs.
- Offer general administrative and operational support to the EO Factory Office team, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Report directly to the EO Factory Manager, while maintaining accountability to the functional overheads area represented.

- Demonstrates strong financial acumen, with a solid grasp of key financial principles including commitment tracking, expenditure control, cash flow management, and accrual accounting.
- Proficient in interpreting and validating supplier quotations and invoices.
- Comfortable working at a granular level to ensure accuracy and completeness in all tasks.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and delivering shared objectives.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with expertise in data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting tools.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines through effective planning and prioritization.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with clear, confident communication both written and verbal.
Education Required:
- Familiarity with key business systems and tools such as SAP; training will be provided as needed.
- Previous experience working within an automotive engineering or manufacturing environment.
