Join Our Team as a Project Support Officer!

Our client is a leading organisation dedicated to connecting people to the energy they use safely, reliably, and efficiently. We're on the lookout for two motivated Project Support Officers to join our dynamic PMO teams on a temporary contract for six months, based in the Warwick area.
Role: Project Support Officer
Duration: 6 Months (extension options)
Rate: 400 pd (via Umbrella) or 242 pd (PAYE)
Location: Warwick (Hybrid) 1 - 2 days a week in Office
About the Role:
This is your chance to make a real impact! As a Project Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our Offshore PMO and Portfolio PMO teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting project control leads with daily tasks.
- Supporting contract and finance management processes.
- Facilitating procurement and change control activities.
- Preparing project reports and contract variations.
- Crafting effective communication documentation.
This role is perfect for those who enjoy helping others. You'll keep your colleagues organised, save them time and stress, and provide the essential support that a successful team needs to thrive. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering the infrastructure necessary to achieve Net Zero and national energy security.

About You:

- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Superb organisational abilities.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to work within a PMO environment on renewable projects.
- Some knowledge or experience in a PMO environment, with a keen interest in advancing a project management career.
- Awareness of project lifecycle processes and appreciation of contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
In this varied role, you will:
- Process and progress change requests from suppliers and the organisation.
- Support the project team with monthly management processes.
- Assist PMO leads in organising meetings and taking notes as needed.
- Manage action logs and prioritise workloads for the team.
- Prepare slide packs for presentations at forums, meetings, and stakeholder events.
- Support regular contractual audits.
- Manage Purchase Order requisitions and assist the project manager with financial forecasting.
- Help the Document Controller manage the Project SharePoint site.
- Oversee the Stakeholder Log and Tracker.
