Product Test Engineer - (phone number removed) - £33.88/hr (Umbrella Rate)

What You Will Do:

- Design test rigs and components using the 3DX toolset (Catia V6), taking them from concept to delivery.

- Create detailed 2D drawings to ensure the seamless manufacture of parts by internal workshops and external suppliers.

- Liaise closely with customers to identify testing requirements and deliver test rigs that meet and exceed expectations.

- Manage and plan your workload effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality test rigs.

- Validate your designs using a variety of methods, including hand calculations, kinematics, Multibody Simulations (MBS), and FEA/CAE.

What You Will Bring:

- Proficiency in using the 3DX toolset (Catia V6) for design and development.

- Strong skills in creating precise 2D drawings for manufacturing purposes.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with customers and team members.

- Proven ability to manage workloads and deliver projects on time.

- Experience in design validation techniques such as FEA/CAE, kinematics, and hand calculations.
