Network Test Engineer - CNI Projects

Location: Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Test Engineer to support Cloud-Native Infrastructure (CNI) projects with a focus on Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), remote test execution, and robust understanding of LAN/WAN technologies. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in network testing, application integration, and working in remote or hybrid testing environments. While RFC testing is not a requirement, a strong grasp of Cisco technologies and modern network protocols is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans for networking components in CNI environments.

• Perform end-to-end testing of network performance, availability, and application life cycle scenarios.

• Conduct remote testing of CNI setups, ensuring reliability and reproducibility of results.

• Use ALM tools to manage test cases, log defects, and track testing progress.

• Validate connectivity, failover, and performance across LAN/WAN networks and Cisco-based systems.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure test coverage and timely defect resolution.

• Document test results and provide actionable feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of experience in network testing in telecom or enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (eg, HP ALM, Micro Focus ALM).

• Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, protocols, and Cisco networking technologies.

• Good experience of Wireshark

• Experience with remote testing, including test orchestration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
