Role: As a Network Security Engineer, you'll be part of a team responsible for day-to-day management of Network Security capabilities within the NSOC team. You'll act on incident, change, and problem management activities. Additionally, you'll actively seek opportunities to enhance the NSOC's overall capability and process workflow.

Responsibilities:

Gather requirements, asses the risk of and implement firewall changes to address the demands of the business.Triage application and user connectivity issues, implement configuration change where necessaryProvide guidance in operating, maintaining, and enhancing Network Security capabilitiesEngage effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that the services supported by the NSOC meet customer and stakeholder requirements.Cross train with other team members to support professional developmentHelp identify key trends and execute remediation plans for recurring incidentsThis position will on occasion require you to field a call off hours.

Skills & Experience:

Hands-on experience with security technologies, including Palo Alto and Cisco ASAExperience with incident and change activities in a large enterprise environment.Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, supporting, and optimizing network security capabilities.Understanding of networking protocols and infrastructure designs, including cloud infrastructures, routing, firewall functionality, host and network intrusion detection systems, encryption, load balancing, and other network devices.The following certifications would be a plus: - Cisco CCIE Security, Checkpoint CCSE/CCSM, Palo Alto PCNSE, F5 201/401 and Zscaler ZDTA/ZTCAReinvent your world.
