Our client is a professional services company based in Warwick. They are looking to acquire the services of an experienced HR professional, to join their growing People team. As an experienced HR Advisor, you will take responsibility for a division of the larger business and provide HR business partnering to stakeholders. Whilst you will be working as part of a HR team, this is a 'standalone' role, so we are looking for confident HR professionals, who have a consultative approach to their work. Main Responsibilities:
- Support the entire employee lifecycle within your portfolio, from onboarding to career development, performance management, and through to offboarding, ensuring a consistent and positive experience at every stage.
- Work with managers to guide performance discussions, helping to identify development opportunities and supporting employees growth within the organisation.
- Support hiring processes where required within your portfolio by collaborating with the recruitment team to ensure a smooth candidate experience and conducting effective onboarding for new team members.
- Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with company standards and employment laws. Act as a resource for policy questions and support managers in applying policies consistently.
- Partner with managers to create a positive work environment, supporting initiatives to improve team morale, engagement, and retention across the portfolio.
- Identify training and development needs within your portfolio, coordinating resources and programmes to ensure employees have access to opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor within your portfolio, managing employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution. Ensure fair, consistent, and timely handling of all issues.
- Use people data and metrics to track key trends in your portfolio, providing insights to help drive continuous improvement and support workforce planning.
- Prior experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisory role is essential.
- CIPD qualification - level 5 preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment law.
- Experience of TUPE transfers and working with Trade Unions would be advantageous.
- Proficiency with HR systems as well as MS suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Please note this is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 9 am 5 pm with hybrid working available (up to 4 days in the office).
