Mechanical Engineer - Permanent - Main Contractor - Water Schemes - Warwickshire Sites - Mechanical Works

Your new company Our client is an established main contractor working on mechanical works within the water sector. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time site-based position based in the Warwickshire area.Your new role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Fault-finding, repairing and maintaining assets across a range of clean water sites

Assisting operational staff with the resolution of complex problems

Ensuring project deliverables meet agreed standards and quality

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of capital projects

Carrying out reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment.

What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful, you will have:

Previous mechanical engineering experience on water (clean water or wastewater) projects

Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (ideal)

Awareness of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
