Your responsibilities:
- Perform CAE simulations using tools such as 3Dx, Altair, and Abaqus to support root cause analysis.
- Execute modal testing and Laser vibrometry using tools like Polytec.
- Use diagnostic and data acquisition tools including Link, LMS, HEAD Acoustics.
- Process NVH/CAE data using Artemis, Link, and LMS platforms.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to cross-functional teams.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (eg, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys).
- Collaborate with design, test, and CAE teams to develop and validate countermeasures
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Expertise in brake NVH phenomena and refinement techniques.
- NVH/CAE processing tools Artemis, Link, LMS - for CAE need 3Dx, Altair, Abaqus, HEAD Acoustics, Polytec
- Hands-on experience with vehicle testing and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in NVH data acquisition and analysis tools.
- Experience with finite element modelling and simulation for NVH.
- Familiarity with modal analysis and Laser vibrometry.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex NVH issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel across Europe for extended periods.
- Brakes refinement (squeal/judder/creep groan) need to be able to do both vehicle test, evalaute dyno data and build and evaluate CAE finite element work as well as NVH specific component measurement tools (modal testing, Laser vibrometry). Vehicle evaluation and feedback to help establish root cause.
