We are recruiting for a temporary Cash Allocation Administrator to support a busy team for the next 6 months. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong system skills, and confidence working with financial data.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)Working Pattern: Office-based

Key Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation and allocation of incoming cash using customer remittances for commercial accounts.
• Contact customers via email and phone when remittances are missing or unclear, ensuring accurate allocation.
• Record all activity, including attempts to obtain remittances and any issues affecting allocation.
• Reverse incorrect allocations and reallocate funds accurately when errors are identified.
• Identify anomalies in remittances and proactively contact customers to clarify or resolve discrepancies.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong computer literacy and confidence using finance systems. Knowledge of SAP and / or Salesforce and advantage
• Intermediate Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and data manipulation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear and professional communication skills when dealing with internal teams and external customers.
• Good numerical ability and confidence working with financial data.
• Ability to maintain focus and accuracy when carrying out repetitive tasks.
