Buzzing with Life: Discover the World of Bugs and Bees!

Free to take part, suggested donation £3 per child to support the museum. Runs 10am - 2pm each day

Activities Include:

Bug Handling with ZooLab

Get up close with fascinating bugs!

Sessions: 10.30am – 11.15am, 11.30am – 12.15pm, 12.45pm – 1.30pm. Prebooking required. Max 2 adults per child. Please cancel if unable to attend. Please note that if you book the later slot it will give you 30 minutes to complete the drop in activities afterwards so come before your booking to complete some of them.

Drop in and take part in:

Bug Crafts to take home - Make a Wool-Wrapped Bee Puppet, Beeswax Candle, Pipe Cleaner Dragonfly, and Bee House. Plus colour flower and insect sheets inspired by the Dorothy Cadbury exhibit. 

Museum Trail: Bug Hunt - Explore the museum with an insect twist! Pick up a family trail and see what bugs you can find among the exhibits.
