Woman arrested after man seriously injured during stabbing in Warwick

Police have arrested a 42-year-old woman after a man was found seriously injured following a stabbing in Warwick.

The man was found wandering near the junction of Arden Close and Spinney Hill at 5pm on Saturday (25 March) by a member of the public.

Warwickshire Police launched an appeal for information as they tried to establish where the stabbing took place.

The force issued an update today (March 27) saying it now believes the incident happened at a house in Spinney Hill.

The 42-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and police are continuing to appeal for information.

Detectives said yesterday the victim had been taken to hospital where he was in a serious but stable condition.

A Warwickshire Police statement added: "We have not released any footage of this incident. Any links below claiming to show footage is spam, please don't click on it."
