The average price of a house in Warwickshire now sits at £355,639, with Stratford-upon-Avon now the most expensive town to buy in across the county.

The home of Shakespeare will set buyers back £454,470 on average for a new home, according to new data released by HM Land Registry.

The data uses the average prices of houses sold in each area, across the 12 months leading up to the end of August 2026.

The last time Nub News looked at this data - in July - Kenilworth was ranked first.

According to the Land Registry data, the average sold property price in Kenilworth over the last year was £445,143, followed by Shipston-on-Stour (£401,412) and then Henley-in-Arden (£400,499).

All of the towns in the top ten are in the south of the county.
