Warwick fifth most expensive place to live in Warwickshire

Warwick is currently the fifth most expensive Warwickshire town to buy a house, according to new data released by HM Land Registry.
The data uses the average prices of houses sold in each area, across the 12 months leading up to the middle of April 2025.
The last time Nub News looked at this data - in September - Warwick was ranked seventh.
According to the Land Registry data, the average sold property price in Warwick over the last year was £375,864.
The list was topped by Kenilworth, followed by Stratford-upon-Avon and Leamington Spa.
Most houses sold in Warwick in the last year were detached, with an average price of £540,905.
Semi-detached properties went for an average of £348,281, with terraced properties fetching £324,538.
Overall, the prices in Warwick over the past 12 months were similar to the previous year and two per cent up on the 2022 peak of £369,987.
The average property price across Warwickshire is £354,274.
