Warwickshire sports teams and community groups are in with the chance of winning a £1,000 cash sponsorship thanks to a collaboration between a Warwick business and local website. 

People Arches Ltd, the company that runs the Warwick branch of McDonald's on Emscote Road, has teamed up with Warwickshire family website Take It From Mummy to offer the coveted prize to a local community group or club.  

The cash prize can be used for anything including new kit and uniforms to sports or activity equipment, venue or facility hire or any other essential club costs.  

Any children's club, grassroots team or community initiative based in Warwickshire can apply via the Take It From Mummy website, and the winner will be selected by a panel based on community impact and how the sponsorship will benefit the children involved. The competition launched this week and closes on Sunday, 18th May, with the winner set to be announced by Monday, 26th May.

To enter the competition, teams or groups need to fill in a short form describing who they are, what the club does and how they will use the sponsorship if they win.
