An new independent business has recently opened in Warwick, offering a unique fusion of books, spirituality, and a themed tea experience.

In addition to a carefully curated selection of books, the shop provides an array of items to aid spiritual practices and features a tea room and therapy centre.

The store's owner, Katalin Németh, who was born in Hungary and now lives in Coventry, explained The Happy Witch is a perfect fit for Warwick, being a naturally "mysterious and magical town," full of stories about ghosts along with its Tudor history.

"I chose Warwick because of the town's magical atmosphere with its Tudor houses and a ghost story in every nook and cranny, and because of the big population of witches and pagans in the area" expressed Katalin.

She continued: "I feel really blessed seeing the welcome my shop received not only from customers, but from other businesses as well. Everyone has been amazing and cooperative so far, which reassures me that Warwick was the right choice."

Katalin herself is a certified Teaching Reiki Master, Hypnotherapy Past Life Regression practitioner and has been a practising pagan for over 20 years.

She is also the author of a dozen mind-body-spirit books and her book, Little Book of Tarot won the International Tarot Foundation's CARTA Award.

Katalin was also chairperson of The Tarot Association of the British Isles for four years, and contributed to various tarot projects around the world.

Through her store, she is now bringing these passions to life.

The team room boasts 22 different teas, each inspired by tarot cards and visitors can draw a card from a deck available in the café, savouring the tea that corresponds to their selection.

"It adds a bit of adventure," said Katalin.

"You can let the cards decide what you'll be drinking."

Katalin also offers Reiki training and healing, and past life regression, which she does in the shop's therapy room.
