Police have seized two vehicles and reported their drivers following separate incidents in and around Warwick.

In the first incident, a silver Vauxhall Corsa was stopped on Stratford Road after officers noticed it leaving a petrol station without its lights on.

Upon spotting police, the driver pulled over and waited for officers to pass before driving off again.

The vehicle was subsequently stopped, and the driver immediately admitted to having no driving licence, no insurance, and no valid MOT. Officers declared the car off the road and seized the vehicle.

In a separate incident in Bishops Tachbrook, a Mazda was stopped near The Leopard Pub after being observed travelling at around 30mph in a 50mph zone.

Checks revealed the registered keeper held only a UK provisional licence and was not the driver at the time. The driver was also only in possession of a provisional licence, despite being listed on the vehicle's insurance.

The vehicle was seized, and the driver has been reported.
