A Timpson pod could be built in the car park of Warwick's Tesco if plans are approved by Warwick District Council.
Supermarket Giant Tesco has applied to build the small retail unit, adding to the 500 that already exist nationwide.
Similar plans had been put forward for the Emscote Road store at the end of last year, but were withdrawn after the council said the application needed to show there was nowhere else the pod could go.
"The pod relies on the footfall created by way of its location adjacent to an existing superstore and the preference is for these pods to be located close to store entrances, or within stores themselves," the fresh application said.
It added: "Given the size of the pods and the nature of the retail offering, most custom comes from linked trips by existing shoppers.
"It is unlikely that customers would seek to utilise the pod in isolation from a wider visit to the existing superstore."
If approved, the scheme will see the car park lose four spaces so the pod and 10 surrounding bollards can be installed.
The shop would offer dry cleaning, key cutting, shoe repairs, watch repairs and engraving.
