Warwick-based businesswoman and creative education specialist Helen Kenworthy is closing 2025 with national recognition, multiple awards, and a growing reputation for doing things differently — and doing them well — for local children, young people, and families.

Helen leads Education Selection Box, RYTC Creatives CIC (trading as The RYTC), and Give Get Go Education — organisations that sit at the crossroads of education, creativity, mental health, and future careers. Together, they provide alternative and inclusive pathways for young people who don't always thrive in traditional systems.

This year alone, Helen and her organisations have collected a remarkable run of awards across education, business, and the arts, culminating in the Golden Peacock Awards 'Trailblazer Award 2025' — recognising individuals who create meaningful change through innovation and leadership.

Four Years of Recognition — and Still Going

Helen's work has now been recognised consistently for four consecutive years, with awards including:

  • Prestige Awards (four years running)
  • Midlands Enterprise Awards
  • Business Success Network Awards
  • Best Businesswoman Award 2025
  • Golden Peacock Awards – Trailblazer Award 2025

Judges at the Golden Peacock Awards praised Helen for "bringing academic learning, creative practice and careers education together into one accessible ecosystem — especially for young people who are often overlooked or underestimated."

Supporting the 'Brilliantly Underestimated'

At the heart of Helen's work is a clear mission: to support what she affectionately calls "the brilliantly underestimated."

Her organisations work with children and young people who may be neurodivergent, anxious, creatively gifted, home educated, in alternative provision, or simply in need of a different approach.

Services include SEND-friendly tuition, creative projects, theatre and storytelling programmes, mental health–informed mentoring, exam preparation, and real-world creative careers training.

Many Warwickshire families now turn to Helen's teams for support that blends academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and creative confidence — all under one roof.

Local Roots, National Impact

Although the awards are national — and in some cases international — Helen remains firmly rooted in the local community.

Her teams work closely with Warwickshire families, schools, community groups, and young people, often supporting those who have struggled to find the right fit elsewhere.

Speaking about the year's success, Helen said: "Everything we do is for children and families who just need a different doorway in.

"Education, creativity and careers shouldn't be separate silos — when they come together, young people thrive.

"These awards belong to our students, families, tutors and communities. We're building something brave together."

Looking Ahead to 2026

With demand continuing to grow, Helen and her teams are already planning new programmes for 2026, including expanded creative education pathways, community projects, and further support for young people navigating non-traditional routes through education and into work.

For Warwick, it's a powerful example of how local leadership — driven by care, creativity and clarity of purpose — can make a lasting difference close to home.
