Several murals, once on display in the Leamington Spa station underpass, are in need of new homes.

The much-loved panels, which welcomed commuters and visitors for over a decade, were replaced this July by The Leamington Spa Colour Palette artwork as part of station improvement works ahead of the Commonwealth Games.

The murals, which are 8ft by 4ft, were created by young people through the Warwickshire Youth Justice Service and depict key parts of Royal Leamington Spa's history including Dr Henry Jephson and Jephson Gardens.

Warwick District Council is asking residents and businesses to get in touch if they would like to give the murals a new home.

Cllr Liam Bartlett, portfolio holder for place, arts and economy, said: "This presents a great opportunity to own a piece of local history.

"The murals were designed by our young people, and we hope that they will all be rehomed locally and remembered for all the hard work that went into developing them."

The murals can be viewed on the Warwick District Council website, where you can submit your interest in owning one of these murals by 5pm on Friday 25 November.

Successful applicants will need to be able to collect and transport the murals from the council offices in Royal Leamington Spa.
