Construction is gathering pace on a new commercial development near Warwick and Leamington, which is set to provide space for small and medium-sized businesses and support up to 85 jobs.

Groundworks have now been completed at Greville Business Park, which is being developed by Warwickshire Property & Development Group (WPDG) and the steel framework for 11 high-quality commercial units is being erected.

The development will provide 28,000 sq ft of flexible commercial space across units ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 sq ft, offering a range of opportunities for established businesses, growing companies and new ventures.

The scheme is being constructed by Birmingham-based E Manton Limited, with completion expected this winter. A further 15,000 sq ft commercial unit is also being delivered for a named occupier.

The units are being marketed for freehold sale by Avison Young and will benefit from a range of features designed to meet the needs of modern commercial occupiers. These include PV roof panels, roller shutter level-access loading doors, three-phase electricity, mains water, fitted toilet facilities and minimum seven-metre eaves heights.

Greville Business Park is WPDG's second commercial scheme, following the successful delivery and sale of Sucham Park in Southam. The development was fully let within 12 months of completion, attracting a mix of growing local businesses and new start-ups.

The Warwick scheme forms the first phase of a wider two-phase development planned by WPDG at Fusiliers Way. The second phase is set to deliver a new local centre serving the growing area and its business community, with plans including a convenience store, children's day nursery and coffee shop.

Together, the two phases is set to create new employment opportunities, business space and local amenities to support the continued growth of the area.

WPDG was formed in 2021 by Warwickshire County Council to realise the potential of its development sites, commercial buildings and mineral rights.

Greville Business Park is being marketed for freehold sale by Avison Young.
