Another yellow weather warning has been issued for Warwickshire by the Met Office.

The warning for thunderstorms is in place from 12noon today (August 29) until 9pm today.

"While most places will miss the worst, heavy thundery showers may bring some impacts this afternoon and evening," the warning said.

The Met Office said there is a "good chance" driving conditions will be affected by spray and flooding of a "few homes and businesses" is "likely".

Meteorologists are warning of possible travel disruption.

The warning is in place for the Midlands, some of wales and the North West.

The Met Office said: "Consider if your location is at risk of flash flooding. If so, consider preparing a flood plan and an emergency flood kit.

"Give yourself the best chance of avoiding delays by checking road conditions if driving, or bus and train timetables, amending your travel plans if necessary.
