Covid-19 booster jabs are now being offered in England to those aged 18 and over who have had their second dose at least three months ago.

The Prime Minister has given the NHS the target of offering boosters to everyone who wants one by the end of the month.

Boris Johnson said a faster roll out was necessary to protect against the incoming "tidal wave of Omicron".

"I'm afraid we're now facing an emergency in our battle with the new variant Omicron," said Mr Johnson.

"It is now clear that two doses of vaccine are simply not enough to give the level of protection we all need. But the good news is that our scientists are confident that with a third dose, a booster dose, we can all bring our level of protection back up."

Booster jabs at Stoneleigh, organised by Kenilworth and Warwick PCN, are only available via pre-bookings.

Walk-in appointments

Walk-in appointments are available at various places across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Coventry and North Warwickshire Cricket Club is offering walk-in appointments for over 16's on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

University Hospital Coventry has walk in appointments on selected days.

Book online

If you're between 18-29 years old, you can book online from Wednesday 15 December. If you're over 30, you can book now.

You can book your booster dose if it's been more than two months, or 61 days, since your second jab and you'll be given an appointment from three months, or 91 days, after the second jab.

If you've had a positive Covid test, you'll also need to wait four weeks, or 28 days, until getting the booster.
