Chiltern Railways has confirmed that there will be no trains to Warwick or Warwick Parkway on Wednesday as more strikes have been announced.
Industrial action has been confrimed for Wednesday 27 July with 40,000 workers at Network Rail and more than a dozen train companies set to walk out.
Chiltern has said there will be an "extremely limited availability of staff" and so it will "not be able to operate services on most routes".
This means that none of its trains will run north of Banbury on Wednesday.
There will be no replacement buses or alternative travel provided.
The operator said: "Unfortunately, as we will not be able to position our fleet how we normally would, the significant impact of the strike will also be felt on non-strike days.
"We therefore, ask customers to seriously consider the necessity of their journey on Wednesday 27 July, and please check your entire journey."
And with more strikes planned for Saturday, July 30 Chiltern said "services are likely to be extremely busy".
"Due to strike action on other operating companies coinciding with the first weekend of the Commonwealth Games, customers should expect to queue at stations in the West Midlands and are advised to plan ahead, check their train before they travel and allow extra time for their journey," a company statement said.
