Hour-long delays on M40 following multi-vehicle crash

All lanes have reopened on the M40 in South Warwickshire following a crash involving multiple vehicles this afternoon (May 30).
Delays of up to an hour remain on the northbound carriageway around junctions 16 (Henley-in-Arden) and 3a (M42 link).
The incident is having a knock-on impact on the local road network.
Originally two lanes of the M40 were closed with delays of 90 minutes reported as emergency services cleared the scene.
National Highways reported all lanes had reopened at around 5.45pm.
