Eleven businesses in Warwick have been nominated for regional awards which recognise the work of local firms.

The businesses have been named across 10 different categories in the 'Muddy Awards 2023' which opened for voting yesterday (May 18).

Organised for the 10th time by online guide Muddy Stilettos Warwickshire and West, the awards shortlist five different businesses in each of 27 categories.

Categories cover best beauty salon to best children's business and all the finalists have been nominated by the public.

The Warwick finalists are:

  • Best Bar: Ronnie's Bar
  • Best Beauty Salon / Clinic: Elixir
  • Best Bookshop: Warwick Books
  • Best Boutique Stay: Mount Pleasant Barns
  • Best Children's Business: Zoogie Boogie Club
  • Best Day Spa: Ardencote
  • Best Hair Salon: Pelo Hairdressing
  • Best Jeweller: Hamlington's AND John Garland Taylor
  • Best New Lifestyle Start Up: Dog Deli
  • Best Yoga / Pilates Studio: Form & Flow

Organisers said: "A massive thank you for taking the time to support your awesome local businesses this year.

"Frankly, the response has blown our socks off – this awards nominations stage has been the busiest yet.

"And, while we wish every brilliant business nominated could make it through, there can only be five finalists in each category and it's up to you to decide who wins the coveted Regional Award.

"Each Regional winner will also be considered for the first ever National Muddy Awards to find the 'best of the best' across all 28 Muddy counties – so there's even more reason to show your support this year!"

Voting will remain open until June 4.
