A Warwick charity beer festival is set to return to the town for the first time in three years this summer.
Running on Friday July 15 and Saturday 16, Warwick Court Leet's Beer, Cider and Music Festival will be held at the Pageant Gardens on Jury Street.
As well as offering guests a choice of 45 beers, 15 ciders, and even a prosecco bar, the event also helps the group raise much needed funds for local causes.
Chair of the social committee Rob Cameron, who is organising the event, explained: "All the proceeds from the event will be made available to the Court Leet grants committee and then charities and good causes in the CV34 postcode area can apply for a grant towards their projects.
"Previously we have provided funding for equipment for Warwick Hospital's special care baby unit, local nurseries, youth organisations (such as Sea Scouts and cub packs) and other worthy projects."
"There are a number of activities that we have supported."
The event raised over £15,000 when it was last hosted in 2019, and has been cancelled for the past two years due to the pandemic.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 edition, with an early bird offer available until the end of May.
A full list of ales & ciders will be published closer to the time, and Rob said there would be a focus on local suppliers as well as some beers from producers further afield.
There will also be live music across the two days, as well as food on site from two local companies.
"We are really excited because it is such a great event," Rob added.
"We love running it and we get lots of positive feedback.
"The venue is stunning as an outdoor area in the centre of Warwick and creates a real buzz on the day.
"It is great to see people at these sort of events, there is always a great atmosphere. And so long as the weather holds it will be a beautiful couple of days in the middle of town."
Warwick Court Leet also hosts the Lord Leycester Beer and Cider Festival in February.
And with both events relying on donations, volunteers and sponsorship to raise money, Rob said the Court Leet was indebted to the many people that make the events possible.
"We are fully supported by volunteers, and we greatly appreciate them," he said.
"Heartfelt thanks and appreciation also go out to the businesses that sponsor the beers and ciders, it is this support that makes it all happen and help us support all these great causes around town."
