South Warwickshire is set to feature on the television this week in the latest episode of The Apprentice.

Series 19 of the hit BBC One show will feature Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding areas in this week's episode, broadcast at 9pm on Thursday (February 13).

The contestants will head to Shakespeare's birthplace to secure nine different items in nine hours in a 'shopping list' challenge.

The episode, filmed last May, will feature streets across Stratford town centre, Lower Clopton Farm Shop and Café, Warwick Castle as well as other local businesses.

The BBC's teaser said: "This week, the candidates set off for the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare, and its surrounding areas.

"They have nine hours to secure nine items, and the team that spends the least on the correct items wins.

"After a comedy of errors and fines, for one team the win is not to be, and Lord Sugar bids adieu to another candidate."

Series 19 of the hit show sees 18 brand new candidates battling it out for the "opportunity of a lifetime" - to win Lord Sugar's £250,000 investment and mentorship.
