UPDATE: A46 reopens following major crash

The A46 has now opened following a major crash this morning (July 1).

The dual carriageway has been closed southbound between the A45 Coventry exit and the Stoneleigh Road junction since around 7.30am.

Police have been completing investigations on site throughout the day.

National Highways has now confirmed the road is open once again.

Emergency services are yet to share many details of the incident.

There are no delays.
