Local event operator, CJ's Events Warwickshire is "thrilled to announce" the resounding success of its Eurovision Song Contest screening event.

Held on Saturday 11 May, the gathering brought together fans and enthusiasts of the renowned international music competition, providing an engaging and immersive viewing experience.

The event, which took place at Pump Room Gardens, drew thousands of visitors, with individuals from across the community coming together to experience the excitement of the Eurovision Song Contest Final.

Attendees were treated to a vibrant and lively atmosphere, complete with street food and bars.

Jamie Walker of CJ's Events Warwickshire said: "We are absolutely delighted with the overwhelming response to our Eurovision screening event.

"The energy and enthusiasm of the attendees was truly incredible, and it was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate this iconic cultural event.

"We'd like to apologise for the loss of screening for approximately 10 minutes.

"The provider of the screen confirmed that there was a technical issue and they worked quickly to resolve the issue.

"The screen came back on and the rest of the contest was broadcasted without any further issues."

The screening event featured a market and kids rides during the day, with pervious Eurovision songs being broadcasted.

CJ's Events Warwickshire plans to return next May to deliver the event once again.

They will work with Warwick District Council to gain permission for 2025.

"We are grateful to all who attended and contributed to making this such a memorable and impactful occasion," Jamie added.

"With this being a new event, we have learnt a lot, and should this event take place next year, we'll ensure it's even bigger and better with some good changes.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank relevant departments at Warwick District Council, particularly Louise and Charlotte from the events team and Emma from licensing to ensure this event was able to take place.

"Our thanks also go to the relevant agencies such as Warwickshire Police who worked closely with us."
