A cocktail with a kick!

Here's a cocktail recipe from the Warwickshire Gin Company, crafted as the perfect accompaniment to England Football team's Quarter Final World Cup clash against Norway on Saturday.

Distilled using a small batch method in Leamington Spa and using a traditional copper pot, the inspiration behind the award-winning drinks collection of gin, rum and vodka, comes from a desire to capture a moment in history, developing flavours to truly represent the county's own unique story and bringing the hand-crafted flavours to life.

This cocktail is made using a combination of drinks from WGC's award-winning gin, rum and vodka collection!

A crisp, celebratory long drink that nods to England's colours: red (strawberry), white (clear spirits), blue (optional garnish twist).

RECIPE

• 35ml Warwickshire Gin

• 15ml Warwickshire Vodka

• 10ml Warwickshire Rum

• 20ml fresh strawberry syrup

• Top with lemonade

• Garnish with lemon wheel and strawberry slices

It is lightly spiced to reflect the essences and heritage of Sam's Elephants, along with Ceylon tea, cinnamon and hibiscus.

Pugilist Ghost Edition White Rum – (37% ABV)

This is inspired by Randolph Turpin who went down in British boxing history for sensationally winning the World Title from the legendary Sugar Ray Robinson earning himself the memorable nickname 'The Leamington Licker'.

Born in Leamington of Guyana heritage, Turpin became a hero overnight! Using the finest Guyanan Rum, it has been rectified with nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice, orange peel, and finished off with Grade A vanilla to deliver a beautifully smooth mouth feel.

Kingmaker Vodka (41% ABV)

This Vodka has the most unique twist, with an added a hint of frankincense to provide a regal smooth finish.
