Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Supplier Quality Management Engineer - 34/hr (Inside IR35) - Midlands/Hybrid - 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal)Position Description:Supplier Quality Management Engineering focuses on planning, organizing, directing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements.Responsibilities:- Verifying and validating that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements- Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities- Ensuring programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity- Reviewing and analysing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues.
