Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Quality Engineer - Automotive - 25.53/hr (Inside IR35) - Gaydon - Initial 3 months (potential for yearly renewal)Position Description:Our automotive client has a continuous stream of new product launches; quality in these vehicles must be flawless when each program reaches mass production. This role is part of the Engineering Quality team and will involve regular work across Warwickshire locations. As part of Engineering Quality, you carry out problem definition for issues found during system simulation, rig testing and engineering fleet usage. This role will also learn from fleet data to address current car issues.Skills Required:- The Engineer will carry out problem definition on all related Integrated Test Planning issues raised on all vehicle assessments.- Experience of cross functional co-ordination capability in Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Quality. - Vehicle technician experience or vehicle fault finding welcomeExperience Required:- Previous experience of Vehicle Launch or Plant Vehicle operations including experience of delivery of problem resolutions in Automotive industry.- Experience of cross functional co-ordination capability in Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Quality.- Strong, structured failure mode avoidance and problem-solving capability.
