Job Description: Lead Spatial DesignerLocation: Gaydon, UK (LRGAYD)Employment Type: Contract(40 Hours/ Week), Hybrid(3 Days on Site)Start Date: September 2025Payrate: £23/hr - £25/hrPosition Overview:We are seeking a Lead Spatial Designer to bring human-made environments and brand experiences to life through innovative spatial design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, interior design, or furniture design, with expertise in translating brand narratives into compelling built environments (retail, events, etc.).Key Responsibilities:• Develop design content for spatial projects (experiences, retail, events).• Translate brand identity into impactful spatial designs that align with global consistency and local relevance.• Collaborate with external suppliers/agencies to ensure project goals are met.• Oversee design phases from concept to execution, including prototyping and verification.• Prioritize human-centric design to maximize user engagement and emotional impact.• Maintain aesthetic integrity across all spatial projects.Essential Skills & Qualifications:(CVs missing these will be rejected)• Proven experience in spatial/environmental design (architecture, interiors, or furniture).• Strong visualization skills: Proficiency in 2D CAD (AutoCAD, Vectorworks) and 3D CAD (3DS Max, Cinema 4D, Rhino).• Construction knowledge (preferred).• Ability to innovate within resource constraints and challenge conventions.• Deep understanding of design trends, spatial balance, and brand storytelling.• Experience working with culturally/geographically diverse teams.Desirable Experience:• Portfolio demonstrating high-impact spatial projects (retail, events, exhibitions).• Familiarity with budget/timeline management for built-environment projects.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):• Adherence to project budgets and timelines.• Delivery of key spatial experiences on schedule.
