7 DAY OPERATIONS WITH VARIOUS START TIMES

£16.06 - £21.41 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Rugby area.

Rates of Pay

• Monday to Friday: (DAYS 00:00-11:59 Starts) - £16.06 per hour
• Monday to Friday: (NIGHTS 12:00-23:59 Starts) £16.95 per hour
• Saturday: £19.63 per hour
• Sunday: £21.41 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:

• Class 1 Trunking Depot to Depot
• Some self tipping work
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills:

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of six months experience driving Class 1 vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid CPC Card and Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience:

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles

Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
