Field Engineer Planner

Contract: Permanent Hours: 40 per week Location: Warwick (Hybrid)

Salary: 28,193

Shift Pattern

Rotating shifts:

• Mon-Fri: 07:30-16:30, 08:00-17:00, 09:00-18:00, 10:00-19:00
• Sat: 08:30-14:00 (1 in 3 rotation)

Saturday weeks are adjusted to maintain 40 hours. Flexibility is essential.

Role Summary

Responsible for optimising daily schedules for a field engineer workforce to meet service levels and customer expectations. Acts as a key contact for engineers and team managers, supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Maximise engineer utilisation and reduce travel time
• Manage same-day planning and job prioritisation
• Coordinate follow-up visits and parts ordering
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
• Monitor job progress and resolve scheduling issues
• Adapt to daily challenges and ensure resource efficiency

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with scheduling/planning systems
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Calm under pressure with a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and PC skills (Word, Excel)
• Focused on continuous improvement and team support
