Health & Safety Advisor Location: Hybrid Warwick (with UK-wide travel) Salary: £44,000 + £6,500 car allowance + benefits

A well-established UK business, part of a leading international group, is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join its team. With a strong reputation across the logistics and retail solutions sector, the company operates across multiple sites throughout the UK and Ireland, and continues to invest in its people, processes and infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you ll work across a diverse operational landscape supporting safe systems of work, risk management and regulatory compliance across all areas of the business. You ll also play a key role in developing a culture of positive safety engagement and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support risk assessments, hazard identification and control measures across varied operations.
  • Review and support contractor RAMS and Construction Phase Plans where required.
  • Promote a culture of safety through consultation, clear communication and engagement with teams at all levels.
  • Ensure emergency procedures are robust, up-to-date and effectively tested.
  • Provide administrative support including record keeping, reporting and ordering through QHSE systems.
  • Stay informed of legislative updates and embed best practice in all health & safety activity.

What We re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) and GRAD IOSH membership essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly across the UK

Assist with the maintenance of all measurement equipment in line with the calibration system. Assist in CAPA using quality toolbox & 8D Ensure understanding and compliance with Health and Safety regulations at all times. Assist where applicable, to ensure that the company maintains all externally accredited certifications and to continually work within the relevant guidelinesEssential: Demonstrates an ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications. Previous experience of using PPAP, MSA, CMM or similar equipment. Demonstrates ability to use intermediate measurement equipment. Demonstrates an ability to analyse and report data and/or measurements analysis. Demonstrates understanding in business systems such as OneERP/ SAP. Works well within a team and can clearly identify when a team approach is required. A 'can do' and proactive approach essential. A desire to complete & gain Quality Qualifications, working progressively towards achieving a Quality Assurance Technician status. Beneficial: Previous experience of working to IATF16494 standard or equivalent. Understanding in business systems such as OneERP/ SAP. Previous knowledge or experience of the use of CMM or similar laboratory equipment.
