This is a fantastic role for an experienced procurement professional looking to drive impactful sourcing strategies and negotiations.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 6-month rolling contract (with potential extension)
• Rate of Pay: £400 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Insert Location or Remote/Hybrid if applicable

Role Overview:

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will:

• Lead sourcing activities and negotiations for a range of aerospace and industrial components.
• Manage contractual and price negotiations to mitigate risk and secure commercial advantages.
• Perform detailed cost breakdown analyses to achieve divisional cost-saving targets.
• Develop and implement robust Commodity and Supplier strategies.
• Drive cost reduction and resourcing programmes to support strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with internal customers to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies.

What We re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• Strong knowledge of component manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Outstanding skills in Excel, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent commercial, contractual, and project management expertise.
• Experience working with a global supplier base in a matrix environment.
• Bachelor s degree required; a Master s degree and/or CIPS qualification is highly desirable.
