We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Infotainment Hardware and Antenna Systems to join our client s team, a world-renowned luxury car manufacturer. The successful candidate will design, release, and approve Infotainment components and systems to deliver required functionality to agreed cost, timing, and quality targets. The Project Engineer Infotainment Hardware and Antenna Systems will:

  • Support EMC testing and investigation to reduce noise floor issues to aid the antenna reception performance.
  • Lead cross-functional team to deliver components to the programme QCWFT (quality, cost, weight, function, and timing) requirements.
  • Create & manage the commodity s virtual & physical DV plan.
  • Manage 5-year commodity strategy & develop relevant new technologies to implementation ready within agreed Function budget, resource & timing.
  • Support pre-production builds, ensuring build concerns are contained and resolved in the required timeframe.
  • Develop and deliver plans to achieve minimum delivered cost throughout lifecycle of components.
The Project Engineer Infotainment Hardware and Antenna Systems will have:
  • Engineering degree or proven equivalent experience.
  • Excellent technical engineering background and a comprehensive knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design.
  • Complete knowledge of Product Development cycle from concept to launch completion.
  • Requirements writing (including use of S/W tools such as Polarion, Doors, Jama etc.)
  • Knowledge of CAN tools to diagnose vehicle behaviour and faults.
  • Excellent written communication skills for requirements writing & concerns management. Able to verbally communicate at all levels.
