Junior/Graduate Electrical Engineer Warwickshire CTJ38

A well-established building services engineering consultancy based in Leamington Spa is seeking a Junior or Graduate Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. With over 50 years of experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and efficient design solutions across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, and residential.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience and professional development within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Ideal Candidate

This position is ideal for someone who is either currently studying or has recently completed a qualification in building services engineering. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a wide range of challenging and rewarding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support design activities for building services systems
  • Perform lighting calculations using Dialux (training provided)
  • Conduct cable sizing using Electrical OM (training provided)
  • Assist with heat loss and ventilation calculations (spreadsheet or IES)
  • Support the sizing of domestic water, gas, and drainage systems
  • Contribute to VRV/heat pump design in collaboration with manufacturers
  • Produce 2D drawings using AutoCAD (training provided)
  • Create 3D models using Revit (training provided)
  • Attend site visits and project meetings alongside senior engineers
  • Maintain a keen interest in building services engineering

Qualifications & Skills

  • T Level or City & Guilds (Trade Qualification), with plans to pursue a Degree Apprenticeship
  • OR BEng/BSc/HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering
  • Basic IT literacy
  • Willingness to learn new software and systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
