JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are actively seeking an experienced and professional CNC Machinary & Equipment Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Warwickshire. The successful applicant will be required to carry out installations, service and breakdown requests, deliver first-class customer care and positively represent the ETG brand at all times. Development and training opportunities will be available.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To communicate positively and efficiently with the Service Desk.
- To visit customer sites to install, service and repair machines.
- Leave jobs in full working order and liaise with customers.
- At customer sites, familiarise yourself with customer rules and working practices, including their health and safety policies.
- To feedback to the Service Desk problems/issues on site.
- When the job/customer dictates, there could be a requirement to lodge away from home.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Ability to install, service and repair CNC machines and equipment
- Ability to fault find, diagnose and correct errors as identified on CNC machine tools.
- Ability to assemble, set up and dismantle hydraulic, pneumatic and large associated mechanical assemblies.
- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
- Knowledge of part identification and understanding of engineering drawings.
- Mechanical and electrical qualifications/experience.
- PLC knowledge.
- Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
- PC literate.
- Previous experience us essential of a service team environment.

Hours : 38 Hours a week
Overtime : Time and a half Weekd days & Saturdays . Sundays Double Time
